Established in 2018, Acute Incite, LLC is a small and dynamic SBA HUBZone consultancy based in the Washington, DC metro area focused on supporting agencies, foundations, and companies looking to grow, evolve, and make greater impact. We do this through engaged consulting, skills-based training, and interactive facilitation.
The company was founded by two dynamic and experienced leaders who earned their MBAs together at Georgetown nearly 20 years ago. Although they ended up working in very different sectors, their innovative philosophies and approaches to organizational and leadership development, strategy, and engagement were strikingly similar—emphasizing iterative, collaborative, and user-centered methods to create sustainable success.
After a year and a half exploring various market opportunities, building credibility with a variety of clients, and securing several new contracts, we kicked off a new phase of our growth in July 2020 by formalizing two primary practice areas and merging in the work and clients of one of our small consultancy partners.
Since November 2018, Acute Incite has been building a select portfolio of clients in support of more effective teams, strategies, and programs. In July 2020 we formally incorporated the work of one of our smaller collaborators, Adaptive Management Partners, and launched our two primary practice areas: Federal Impact, and International Development.
We strive to create a world-class organization that can have a positive impact on the world, in how we operate our organization, mentor and support our staff, and partner with our clients. We are passionate about our work and productivity, and equally passionate about having fun while we do it. We support a balance between delivering results and having a life.
Collaboration is part of our DNA. We approach it with humility and an appreciation for our colleagues’ diverse skills and perspectives. We want all team members, regardless of title or position, to feel empowered to contribute. We believe in working together to produce more than we could do individually. We celebrate our collective results over individual accolades.
We bring real value to our clients by solving challenges with innovative ideas, creative approaches, and diverse experience. We have a commitment to ongoing learning and flexibility that allows us to adapt to changing conditions and new opportunities. We bring a growth mindset to our interactions as a team and with our clients, facilitating continuous improvement in all we do.
We approach our work with an attitude of trust, respect, and humility. We put our clients’ needs at the center of our work and consciously build safe, open spaces for honest conversations.
We care about the people we work with, support and appreciate each other, and create an environment in which our team members feel safe to speak up. We always have each others’ back. We remain open and teachable, willing to listen and consider ideas that may challenge our own thinking. In all we do, we value being able to share opinions and ideas, hear alternative perspectives, and take mitigated risks that yield breakthrough results.
