Acute Incite, partnership with Humentum, is offering a virtual four-day course on “Integrating Effective CLA Plans into USAID Awards.” This foundational course is facilitated by experts in USAID’s CLA framework and supplemented by guest appearances from USAID CLA practitioners.
Acute Incite's facilitators will show you how to implement and demonstrate CLA capacity and give you the confidence to translate what you are probably already doing into more systematic and integrated learning practices.
As a result, participants will be able to write more effective proposals, develop more realistic MEL plans, and implement more adaptive programs.
The CLA Community of Practice is a place to engage with international development practitioners and experts from around the world who are interested in or actively integrating CLA practices in their work.
Acute Incite started this group when we noticed a need for connecting USAID implementers working on CLA. Within a few months, the LinkedIn group is over 100 members strong, and growing!
Members share and request tools and resources, spread the word about relevant events and opportunities, and connect with colleagues in similar roles. Acute Incite moderates the group and facilitates quarterly knowledge sharing meetings.
The MDLP is an intentional and ongoing collaboration of the senior adaptive management, knowledge management, and organizational learning representatives from major bilateral and multi-lateral donors including UNICEF, USAID, Sida, GIZ, the World Bank, IDB, FCDO, IFAD and the Wellcome Trust and co-facilitated by Acute Incite.
To learn more about this group, read the MDLP's 2022 book: Return on Knowledge. How international development agencies are collaborating to deliver impact through knowledge, learning, research and evidence here or check out our website.
