Now more than ever, teams and organizations that are able to adapt to changing contexts are the ones that will not just survive but thrive. Acute Incite's experience in adaptive management is unrivaled in the international development space.
We were a part of the team that rolled out USAID's approach to adaptive management, collaborating, learning and adapting (CLA), and have provided support to USAID and implementing partners on a range of levels, from CLA capacity building to in-house CLA support.
Focus areas: Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA), knowledge management, learning cycle support, organizational learning, and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL).
Change starts with people. We work with teams to identify the root causes of the obstacles in their path and develop custom people-centered solutions.
Building on decades of combined experience by our team working both in-person and in globally disbursed virtual networks, we also have experience building and supporting learning networks and Communities of Practice for international donors, implementing partners, sector-specific practitioners, and topic- and location-based communities.
Focus areas: Group facilitation, team building, stakeholder engagement, leadership coaching, and strategic planning.
As entrepreneurs who have worked in a range of industries, we have a good understanding of the interests of companies as well as their concerns doing business in developing countries. We also understand how the interests of donors overlap with businesses, and how development programs can mitigate operational and investment risks. We identify companies with potential interest in engaging; help prepare development organizations for successful conversations; broker relationships, and help set up and maintain the collaboration required for successful relationships through technical support.
Focus areas: private sector landscape analysis, market systems strengthening, environmental, social and governance (ESG) analysis, and market entry/expansion.
Digital infrastructure, policies, skills, and expertise are critical to a country's economic, and social development. We work at the national, subnational, and community levels to develop and support digital transformation, including developing digital skills strategies and awareness building with private sector entities and NGOs which have an interest in good policies, connectivity, and a digitally skilled workforce.
Focus areas: Online capacity building, eLearning, and multi-stakeholder policy engagement, digital skills strategies.
Acute Incite is available for a variety of short-term, deliverable-based assignments pegged to daily rate estimates, such as: designing and delivering a staff training on USAID-required approaches; supporting adaptive management plan creation; leading knowledge management strategy development; facilitating a team retreat, multi-stakeholder learning event or a strategic planning session; or providing a CLA training.
It's not always cost-effective to carry full-time experts on a lean team with changing needs. Acute Incite offers a more cost-effective and strategic model that provides peace of mind that comes from knowing you have access to the skills you need, combined with the cost-effectiveness of leveraging resources only as they are needed.
Because we have developed our networks, skills, approaches and reputation over decades of experience and dozens of countries, we are able to effectively find full-time specialized expertise when our clients need, in a more nimble and cost-effective manner than traditional recruiting or expensive headhunters.
